After graduating from Duke University earning degrees in biology and psychology, Gena Taylor Manley, MD, FACOG earned her medical degree from the University of South Alabama. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.
Dr. Manley practiced general OB-GYN in the Atlanta, GA area leaving to pursue her interest in high-risk obstetrics. She completed fellowships in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at University of Maryland Medical Center and then in Prenatal Diagnosis and Obstetrical Ultrasound at Yale University Hospital in New Haven, CT.
Dr. Manley returned to the Washington DC/Baltimore area where she practiced maternal-fetal medicine at INOVA Fairfax Hospital and Sinai Hospital in Baltimore before joining Greater Washington Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Dr. Manley is married and the mother of four children – identical twin boys and boy/girl twins.
